---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- README WBAND RADAR DATA - L0.0 VERSION - ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- General information on data release L0.0: ----------------------------------------- These data are the radar data produced with the standard processing routine developed by Uni-Koeln (https://github.com/igmk/w-radar) which DO NOT take into account any ship motion, and do not fix any ghost echo. For this reason, we disencourage any use of this data for variables other than reflectivity. A new version of the dataset corrected for ship motions is being produced and will be available by the end of 2020. We recommend to use the upcoming version for any publication you are planning to develop. The data uploaded correspond to the compact files, which do not include the radar Doppler spectra but only its moments. If you are interested in the Doppler spectra, please contact us and we will give you the data. Doppler spectra will be included in the new release of the dataset, which will be put online by the end of 2020.
